The Big Event
It has arrived. The reason that humans exist is here. With every move that is made effects a country. It is the Rugby World Cup 2007. With the U.S. losing every game they play (not by a long shot though) I have decided to root for the South Africa Springboks. I even have a real jersey from Cape Town. I am now an official rugby-holic. I’m begging my mom and dad to let me join a team. I have tried to watch every game and have only missed two. The Springboks have won every game and the US Eagles trail by ten points every time. Go Boks!

This is particularly true since South Africa lost to India in the Cricket World Cup last night so badly that they are out. Kinda nice to get that out of the way so we can concentrate on rugby, huh?

Enjoy the rugby on TV and threre are some good rugby DVDs about learning the rules of the game and how it is played. Just E-mail Grandpa and he can give you the titles or maybe send them to you. It is a tough sport but themost important component is conditioning and you can do that anywhere all the time. Running is everything and good concentration, knowing what is going on around you all the time. So start working out and get that running going and if you find a team you will be in condition. Good luck. It is so fun you are in South Africa for the world cup and the Boks are doing so well. We are happy the US is doing as well as they are, this is one of the best showings the Eagles have had in years. Rugby is growing in the US but we are still very young with the game.
