The Book List

So my mom thought it would be a good idea to write all the books I have read here in my Africa Journal. My a. journal is a journal that my mom got us kids for us to write in. so I decided to do just that. I was not surprised at how many books I have read here, after all reading has been one of my bigger entertainment choices. Here is the list of books I’ve read so far:
1. Twilight
2. New Moon
3. Ella Enchanted
4. May Bird
5. The Alchemyst
6. Half Moon Investigations
7. Lunch Money
8. Fable Haven
9. Alice in Wonderland
10.Charlie Bone and the Time Twister
11.I, Coriander
12.Walk Two Moons (a couple of chapters to go!)

I don’t have a favorite out of all these. I feel excited when ever I finish a book because I get to read another!

Bryn,
If you haven’t already read it, I would recommended to you " the Great Gilly Hopkins".
I am not sure what grade level it is but I read it in Elementary school, 5th grade I think, I am sure you could handle. I just recently read it again, it can be sad at parts but wonderful in others! Your mom could find it for you on Amazon.com
Love you! Jenny

Bryn, I thnik you may have met your match with James O over here in Holladay. I can't keep him in good books. If he does find himself without a new book he just reads an old one, again and again and again. If he gets his books taken away for doing something wrong, I tell him that he can read the Book of Mormon and that I will never take that away from him. Loves to all, KellyO

wow, when I started reading your list, I thought it was Katie writing...then I noticed it was you Brinley! Your list looks a lot like mine (I've read almost all your list) this year. I'm surprised that you're into the Stephenie Meyer series...I'd have thought it was a little too "old" for you still. Do you think Bonnie would like it?

I just picked up the 2nd book in the FableHaven series about an hour ago...can't wait to start it. Brandon Mull's 3rd book "The Candy Shop War" just came out and I'm waiting to get it from the library. I went to a writing seminar where he spoke and shared the story of how he became an author. It was a fun talk!

Thanks for the great list!

Sounds great! The ones I've read there are Fablehaven and Walk Two Moons. I highly recommend all the rest of Sharon Creech's books - I've read all of them and found Sharon Creech a fantastic author. Would you recommend any of those to me? I have a couple for you:

1. The second Fablehaven; Fablehaven and the Rise of the Evening Star
2. The book my mom mentioned, The Candy Shop War (it is SOOOOOO good! I loved it!!!!!)
3. The Warriors series - they are about cats and they are soooo good, let me just tell you about it real quick:
There are 3 series, all with the same characters but some new characters. The first series is called "Warriors," the second is "Warriors: a New Prophesy" and the third series is "The Power of Three Warriors." There's only one book in the third series right now but the author (Erin Hunter) is working on it. I seriously recommend all of them (and read those series in ORDER from book 1 to 6 or whatever)
Miss you!
